gaim-thinklight software package provides Transitional package to pidgin-thinklight, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gaim-thinklight
gaim-thinklight is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gaim-thinklight package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gaim-thinklight *
You will get with gaim-thinklight package name, version, architecture and description in a table
